I’m still recovering from a gorgeous, glittering night in NYC! I was thrilled and honored to be invited to be a Blogger Ambassador and live-tweet from the 2012 Moms on a Mission Awards and Fundraiser held by one of my favorite non-profits, Healthy Child Healthy World.
The event honored moms who are effecting real change to rid our environment of toxins and toxic chemicals. The Honorees were Victoria Di Iorio, who is spearheading safe construction materials, and Abby Epstein and Ricki Lake, who produced the ground-breaking documentaries, The Business of Being Born and More Business of Being Born.
Gigi Chang, CEO of Healthy Child, introducing the event.

Our MC for the night, Kelly Rutheford.
It was truly inspirational to be in a room filled with women and men to whom Healthy Child’s mission is so vital. I met some really lovely women.
Me and Dagmar Bleasdale, who blogs at Dagmar’s Momsense.
Also — BEST. SWAG. EV-AH.
The Sponsors, Plum Organics, Nordic Naturals, Ology, and more really showed up.
