Wegmans Coupon Matchups – 11/17

Wegmans Coupon Matchups

My Wegmans Coupon matchups are done using the prices in Rochester-area Wegmans’ stores. Prices and coupon values may vary depending on location.

You can find coupons to use at Wegmans in the Coupon Database, or at Coupons.com.

Make sure to download the two apps that will help you save money at the grocery store, even without coupons, Ibotta and Favado. I use both of them every time I shop!

Listed are the best deals this week. You can see the full list of Wegmans Coupon Matchups Here.

  1. I just wanted to thank you for the work you put onto this blog, it truly makes it easy for me to plan my trip to my beloved Wegmans 😀

may I ask how your able to get coupons for free products? Should I email the company?

    • That’s a great question! Yeah, it never hurts to send off an email to a company you admire! Something like: “Hey, I really love your (product)! Do you have any coupons? ”

Another tip is to follow the Facebook pages of brands you use regularly; lots of brands put coupons on their FB pages. :)

  2. Hi Sarah,

I just wanted to say a big thank you for all your helpful info!! Your blog is amazing!!!

I do want to give a heads up that tonight the Pittsford Wegmans was a pretty unpleasant coupon experience. It was a small order, and I stay well within the guidelines for coupons at Wegmans, but both the cashier and manager were very challenging and negative.

The cashier, acting very suspicious of my coupons, actually said: “they don’t accept couponing in here” I asked her to clarify, and she said “you can’t just come in here with a bunch of coupons and try to get a zero balance”.

I didn’t make a scene – just left with my 60% savings (woot!!) I did write to customer care and suggested maybe a memo to cashiers to not treat your customers badly just because they have coupons. Never had this happen at any other Rochester location, but I am relatively new to couponing…so hope it was a one time thing….it’s very clear other people do coupon at Pittsford Wegmans because the shelves were cleared of many of your matchup items this week. :/

Anyway, thanks again for a great site!!

    • Hi Karen! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment. I have used coupons at many Rochester-area Wegmans stores, and while I have largely only had positive experiences, occasionally I hear stories like yours.

First, I think it’s ridiculous how that cashier treated you. I tend to expect more from Wegmans, but the bottom line is that cashiers should know the coupon policy. That’s part of the reason I print out the coupon policy and bring it to the store with me: http://www.wegmans.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/FAQDetailView?storeId=10052&catalogId=10002&langId=-1&faqCategory=StorePolicies#question_31

Also, don’t be shy about calling over a manager, which it sounds like you did. Still, I know it stinks when that happens.

I love to hear these experiences, though! Thanks for sharing!
