Cheap & Green in 2013: Homemade Body Wash Using Natural Ingredients

One of my new favorite hobbies is raiding the kitchen for new beauty products. Between the Oil Cleansing Method and using essential oils to get rid of acne, to DIY body scrub, my goal is to have 100% natural body care, head to toe.

Homemade Body Wash

I’ve been using a homemade body wash for the past few weeks, and I’ve been very happy with the results.  It’s really easy to mix up with ingredients that you can find easily in your kitchen (or in the natural section of your grocery store).

UPDATE: If you like this Homemade Body Wash recipe, you’ll probably also like my Homemade Face Moisturizer.

Here’s the recipe for Homemade Body Wash:

Mix it all up well in a glass bowl and use with a washcloth. I store mine in a mason jar and leave it in the shower.
