
The December holidays are behind us, the New Year has been rung in, and we’re making a clean break from all the bad habits and unhealthy patterns that dogged us in 2012.
Right?
Ok, maybe not a clean break, but you can at least get off on the right foot every morning with my favorite daily detox drink. Simply squeeze 1/2 of a fresh lemon into a cool glass of water, and drink first thing in the morning.

Lemons really are a wonder fruit, as the juice aids in digestion, cleanses the liver, and is full of immune-boosting vitamin C. Lemon juice squeezed in cold water is the perfect way to start each day with a clean slate, regardless of whatever debauchery happened the night before.
