One of the best reasons to shop online (other than being able to shop in your pajamas) is the ability to earn cash back on your online purchases. I NEVER make an online purchase without shopping through Ebates.
How does Ebates work?
When you are going to make a purchase online, check the Ebates website to see if the retailer is listed, and place your order through the Ebates site. There are over 1,200 retailers available to choose from. You can earn anywhere from 2 to 54% of your purchase in cashback.
How do I get paid?
Every 3 months, Ebates will send you a cash back payment for purchases posted during the previous quarter. If you’ve earned less than $5.01 cashback, they will carry over your money to the next check. You can get cashback through check or paypal.
What stores can I use Ebates to earn cashback through?
Ebates has over 1,200 participating stores including Kohls, Target, Barnes & Noble, Land’s End, Gap Home Depot, Best Buy and so many more! Plus, when you search for a retailer on Ebates, you’ll also be able to find and apply any available coupon codes or free shipping offers.
Let me give you an example. My husband is in desperate need of boots that he can wear to work. We have a gift card to Sears that we would like to use, so I find Sears on the Ebates site and click “Find Coupons.” I realize that I can use a promo code to get 15% off my footwear order at the point of purchase, and in addition, I will get 4% of my purchase price deposited into my Ebates account. I found a great pair of boots with free shipping for only $44.99, and I will get $1.80 deposited in my Ebates account.
How do I sign up?
If you sign up through my referral link, you will be directed to the Ebates site and qualify for a BONUS $10 gift card to Walmart, Macy’s, or JC Penney with your first $25 purchase. I don’t know about you, but I’m going to be doing some online shopping in the coming weeks, and if I can earn even a few dollars extra by shopping through Ebates, I’ll try that any day! This post may contain affiliate links, which help support this site.
