#GoGreenGetFit – Week Four – Getting out of a Slump

Despite a solid beginning with my #GoGreenGetFit Challenge, my motivation seems to have evaporated.

There’s no real giant excuse. Life got busy, something had to give, and I stopped doing my daily yoga.

And I can tell. After just 10 days of not doing it, not only do I feel physically flabbier, but I don’t have as much energy and am sleeping more poorly. The sleeping may be attributed to stress, but that  would also be remedied by more daily yoga practice.

Still, I was just kind of meh about my lack of motivation.

Then I tried on a pair of pants that I want to bring with me to BlogHer in two weeks. I’m sure you can imagine where this is going. They felt GREAT when I bought them — but yesterday they were just a bit tight. Ugh.

That “ugh” feeling was all the motivation I needed. I wish I could say it was my persistent dedication to the practice of yoga. But it wasn’t. I really just want to look cute in my jeans. ;)

That’s all for now. I’m going to go do Yoga for Abs.

    I signed up for a gym membership ($20 per month that includes unlimited massage chairs and tanning plus guest pass) last month – I got strept throat that week and was sick for almost 2. Lol but this past Saturday night I started going daily. So I have gone 3 nights in a row. I ride the bike for 25 min, then do the arm and ab machines…then to the massage chair. :D that is what is keeping me going. Hahaha oh and my hubby and I are having a competition.
