I’m always amazed when I’m a guest in someone’s house, and they offer me a beverage. Not water from the tap, but an actual drink — iced tea, soda, juice, or even wine.
Why? Not because of my friends’ lovely hospitality, but because we never stock anything in our house but plain old tap water. Yes, I run it through a filtration pitcher first, but it’s still just water. And that is all.
So since what we’re drinking — though the most healthful, life-sustaining choice — is, let’s face it, rather dull, it helps to have a jazzy vessel to drink it out of.
Here’s where the new Sigg Design Winners Water Bottles come in. The awesome peeps over at Sigg were generous enough to send me one of their pure aluminum water bottles to try out. As soon as I opened the box (well, after my 4 year old ripped out the bubble wrap and started “plopping” it), I audibly “ooh-ed” and “aah-ed” at how gorgeous this thing is. In fact, I have some competition for my Sigg:
I mean here are the facts — we know it’s important to ditch the plastic bottle, tote our water in a BPA- and Pthalate- Free environment — that’s just a given. But Sigg is making Eco-Friendly look good. I don’t mind at all drinking just water when I’m drinking out of my Sigg.
The bottle I got to choose is the “Peace and Harmony” Design — and I love it. It’s just so pretty. And guess what — the good folks over at Sigg want one of my lovely Mindfully Frugal Mom readers to snag their very own Sigg Reusable Water Bottle. It’s easy – just enter using the form below.
