OK, I know $64 for a clock isn’t the most frugal deal. Let me put it this way: How much would you pay to be able to sleep in past 6 am (when the kids want to be up playing) on any given day? Mamasource is offering a ZazooKids Digital Photo Alarm Clock. You can upload “wake up” and “stay in bed” photos to the clock. When the “stay in bed” picture is showing, it means your child should stay in bed. When the picture “wakes up,” (at a time you choose), your child can get up. In addition, you can override the setting with a remote control.
I know it sounds too good to be true, but I’ve been using a similar clock with my 3 1/2 year old for over a year — and it actually works! Before, he was getting us up as early as 4:45 am. Now, he stays in his room and plays until 7!
